Service to the community
j-ISBA — Treasurer, 2025–2027
j-ISBA is the junior section of the International Society for Bayesian Analysis, for students and researchers within five years of their degree. It runs conferences and sessions, provides networking and mentoring for early-career Bayesians, and connects them with the wider statistical community.
I sit on the j-ISBA board as Treasurer, alongside managing the section’s finances and membership.
Main activities
BAYSM — Bayesian Young Statisticians Meeting. Organizer of BAYSM 2025 (held online) and BAYSM 2026 (Nagoya, Japan). BAYSM is j-ISBA’s flagship conference, dedicated to junior Bayesian researchers.
Blackwell-Rosenbluth Award. Lead organizer of the 2025 and 2026 editions. The award, run jointly by ISBA and j-ISBA, recognises outstanding early-career researchers for their overall contribution to Bayesian statistics and to the community.
Treasurer. Responsible for the section’s finances across the 2025–2027 term.
